Please join us on a walking trail of our natural reserve “RIO CRISTAL”. A privileged location at 1700 meters above sea level and on the limits of the “INTERNATIONAL PARK LA AMISTAD” in the Talamanca mountain range. Come explore the exhuberant tropical flowers and fauna of this protected forest where we have listed over 150 species of birds, many of them endemic to the area.
The tangaras, candelitas, and tragones are some of the most commonly observed birds. As well as the fascinating Quetzal which spends the summer months here in this amazingly diverse forest (December – April). The ideal place for nature and bird-lovers, Natural Reserve “RÍO CRISTAL” will be an unforgettable, a unique experience.
